Work Package 1: Management and Coordination
The effective project management system will apply effective decision-making, operational internal communication, development of solid work breakdown structures, schedules, costs and resource plans, effective administrative and technical control of the project. These factors will give the appropriate “weight” to the project. Quality assurance and control mechanisms also firm part of this WP
Work Package 2: Basketball support and engagement practices mapping
Under this WP we will conduct a mapping of the services offered by the academies in terms of training, psychological support, organization etc. This will lead to a list of Good Practices. Special attention will be giving to the twinning type of projects that might exist (possibly in an informal way).
Tools to be used: development of a template that the partners will use to map the Good Practices, for Identification of needs: Interviews/surveys with stakeholders (athletes, families, academies staff, coaches) to explore the needs.
Work Package 3: Design the Knowledge Transfer Network conceptual model
In this WP a support model will be designed. The GPs will be used as the basis and will be further adjusted to meet the individual needs of the academies involved.
Work Package 4: Deliver Basketball-KTN intervention package
In this WP we will deliver the services to all the participants, and measure the impact of the interventions.
Work Package 5: Dissemination & communication
The main focus of WP5 is to ensure that the project’s practical outcomes are widely disseminated to the appropriate target communities, at appropriate times, via appropriate methods, and that those who can contribute to development, evaluation, uptake and exploitation of the project outcomes can be identified and encouraged to participate.
