On January 24–25, 2024, the Kick-off Meeting of the Basketball-KTN project took place in Athens, Greece, hosted by Evnikos Sports Club. Partners from Greece, Serbia, Spain, and Italy participated in person, while partners from Ukraine joined online due to the ongoing war situation in the country.
The meeting marked the official launch of the project, providing an opportunity for partners to align their expectations, discuss objectives, and outline a clear roadmap for upcoming activities. The kick-off sessions included detailed presentations, collaborative discussions, and strategic planning.
The meeting focused on building a common understanding of the project’s structure and goals, as well as analyzing the details of each Work Package (WP).
As the meeting concluded, partners discussed the timeline for the next actions and set key milestones. A major decision was to hold the first official project meeting and co-creation studio in Italy, under the responsibility of Basketball College, instead of Spain and FBCLM. The Basketball-KTN project aims to foster innovation in basketball participation and knowledge transfer. Through collaborative efforts and structured implementation, it seeks to enhance engagement in the sport, provide essential support systems, and establish a sustainable knowledge-sharing network.
