Introduction to Dual Career – Part 2

On March 13, 2025, the second session of the Introduction to Dual Career training took place, focusing on one of the most critical challenges young athletes face: time management. The ability to successfully combine athletic commitments with academic demands is not only a matter of scheduling, but also one of mental resilience, proper guidance, and strong support systems.

During the session, video case studies of real athletes were presented, showcasing how they managed to navigate their dual careers effectively. These examples highlighted practical strategies such as daily scheduling, setting clear priorities, and finding balance between training and study. They offered participants valuable insight into how theory can be transformed into real-life solutions.

A meaningful discussion followed, where participants exchanged reflections and proposed strategies to better support dual career athletes. The dialogue emphasized the importance of communication, flexibility, and emotional resilience as essential factors that help young athletes cope with stress and maintain both balance and performance. This second session went beyond theoretical training; it was a practical learning experience, connecting real-life examples with actionable tools that participants can apply directly in their own environments.

The Dual Career training will continue with even more engaging topics, as part of the Knowledge Transfer Network and the close collaboration among project partners. Stay tuned for the upcoming sessions that will further enrich knowledge and practice in supporting young athletes!
